We honor our Volunteers by using them as examples for the rest of our community...Our honoree for the Month of October is... Mr. Walter White
Here is the article submitted to the Eastern Arizona Courier that describes Walter's contributions. Ever wondered about all
those signs on our highways and byways dedicating a portion of the roadway
to the memory of an individual or honoring a group or business? Those
signs are part of Adopt-a-Highway programs sponsored by the Arizona
Department of Transportation, County Highway Departments and Towns and
Cities. Mr. Jay Rasco has recently created a new non-profit organization
called Southeastern Arizona Clean and Beautiful (SEACAB). The purpose of
SEACAB is to help individuals and groups clean up our highways and byways
and to encourage and help those who have already adopted a portion of
roadway to maintain their dedicated section.

We will regularly update this page as volunteers are recognized and honored. We will honor not only individuals but families, groups, business or organizations whose efforts have resulted in a cleaner, more beautiful community. For past articles click here for archived honorees:
